Our API is available
Since today our API ("Application Programming Interface") is available. So application developers could now create new and additional programs for different platforms based on our services and, perhaps more important, our services are now usable and directly bindable out of the own website.

Today we want to announce and introduce an upcoming new feature: the Speap Me Button.
Like the nowadays often used "Feedback"-buttons (e.g. of UserVoice like used on Speap) the Speap Me Button is displayed on the left or right side of each page on your website. A click on this button will enable a user of your website to enter his phone number and get instantly connected to phone number of your choice. This call is free of charge for your user, your Speap account will be charged according to our current rates.
This means the Speap Me Button is a cheap and effective alternative for a local or even a global 800 number.

It is always a good thing to see business owners or operators use their own products and services. So we do. But there was always a thing we did not like while using our own service: Calling contacts stored in a mobile phone using this mobile phone. Even if PIN authentication is disabled and the phone number of the mobile phone is the registered Caller-ID you have to type in the phone number of your contact, or at least the number of the phone book entry.
Well, problem solved; we want to introduce a new feature, Speap.To.
